Entrust IdentityGuard Mobile Smart Credential is a mobile application that turns your mobile device into a virtual smart card or digital identity. After successfully activating the app with your credential issuer's Entrust IdentityGuard server, it can be employed in various ways, depending on the services set by the issuer. It allows for authentication to computers and corporate networks, decryption of emails and files, validation of transactions on web applications, digital signing of content, forms, and transactions, and can serve as a virtual physical access badge for buildings and secure locations on NFC-supported platforms.

The Entrust Mobile Smart Credential requires activation through a credential-issuing organization with an Entrust IdentityGuard account. Users need to consult with the organization for activation instructions after downloading the application.
